[REJECTED] Re:Creators

create alias alisteria_february -> alicetaria_february
create alias koura_ayano -> marine_(re:creators)

"Alicetaria" is the official spelling, seen in the show itself in episode 13. Also, the other authors are tagged with their pen names (which are the names they are most known and credited as), so Marine being tagged with her real name is inconsistent.

The bulk update request #1233 has been rejected.

I created the Koura_Ayano tag after her real name was revealed. I'm not super tied to using her real name, but I also don't like the precedent set down by not using the character's real name when it's a non-spoiler and revealed fairly close to when the character is introduced. It'd probably be more inline with most other series to use the creaters' real names, as opposed to their pen names.

Pen name/Real name
Matsubara Takashi(revealed Ep. 2)/Ohsawa Takashi (revealed Ep. 5) [Character first appears Ep. 2]
Marine (Ep. 3)/Koura Ayano (Ep. 5) [Ep. 3]
Takarada Gai (Ep. 5)/Takarada Naoya (Ep. 5) [Ep. 4]
Yatoji Ryo (Ep. 5)/Goda Ryosuke (Ep. 8) [Ep. 8]
Suruga Shunma (Ep. 7)/Ohsawa Chika (Ep. 8) [Ep. 8]

Marine's real name appears first in ep. 4 on her business card. It looks like it is actually more accurately romanized "Kouura Ayano". And you're missing one that is enough of a gap to potentially be considered a spoiler: Shimazaki Setsuna (Ep. 5)/Shimazaki Yuna (Ep. 11)

It's one thing if characters are primarily known by their real name (like, say, Utaha and Eriri in Saekano) or it's fairly mixed which names they are known by, but in this series, they're consistently known by their pen names. In many cases here, the characters' real names are only said once and never heard again (not even sure the kanji is known on Yatouji's and Suruga's real names).

Updated

Current usage of pen names and real names is still inconsistent (minor spoilers below)

koura_ayano (non-standard romanization, currently used) -> kouura_ayano (real name) <-> marine_(re:creators) (pen name)
oosawa_takeshi (real name) <-> matsubara_takashi (pen name, currently used)
takarada_naoya (real name) <-> takarada_gai (pen name, currently used)
gouda_ryousuke (real name, currently used) <-> yatouji_ryou (pen name)
oosawa_chika (real name) <-> suruga_shunma (pen name, currently used)
shimazaki_yuna (real name) <-> shimazaki_setsuna (pen name, currently used)

I would prefer their pen names (since none of these characters are referred to their real names much, I think all only once or twice), but if we're going to stick to real names, I'm fine with going ahead and proposing it so they can be kept consistent and accessible with aliases. The last one is iffy if we're being strict with spoilers, but it's not a major one so could be OK depending on how we move forward with topic #13728 and (relevant to this same series) topic #14445.

^ i'll go for spoiler-free pen names in all characters. real names can be placed in wikis instead inside spoiler tags. they are always addressed in pen names not by real names. it will only confuse users using such obscure tags, imho.
