Not really knowledgable of this copyright, so I don't know if spoiler or even the same character, but the wiki page of prismal_illya seems to indicate an alternate appearance of her..

Yes, it's the same character but in a spin-off series set in an alternate universe, and with magical girl outfit/powers. It's not a spoiler.

It might be worth considering if the tag should be a character tag (thus always bound to the Illyasviel von Einzbern tag) or should it be a general outfit tag. The bulk of the images are using the tag to refer to the outfit, and the ones where it is not seem better off not actually using the tag.

I use it to refer to the outfit, since I imagine retagging some of them prisma_illya_(cosplay) or the like might get tiring. That's kind of the same approach we have for other character-specific outfits too, I think.

I disagree with this. It's not common practice at all to have magical girl identities implicated to their civilian identity. If they have a very distinct appearance (which, granted, is not the case with Prisma Illya) the tags should even be completely separate. Was argued, though not necessarily to a conclusive decision, in topic #13004.

I think EB has a point. The Sailor Senshi, pretty much one of the most recognizable magical girl groups, do not have their senshi titles implicated to their real names IIRC.
