The torsos. Those women look like they're over a dozen heads tall.

I mean, that's the main reason I stopped posting from this artist (and also wouldn't approve them unless they're not awfully bad).

Administration should clear up the rules on AI posts, it is not mentioned that AI posts are banned outright, only "Fully AI-generated art with no human input".
My pieces are always processed and manually edited. It should be made clear what "fully AI-generated" means.

If AI is indeed fully banned it should be mentioned more clearly.

The rules are pretty clear. Fully AI-generated art is banned as per the upload rules and the wiki, which your post is tagged as. AI-assisted art is not strictly against the rules but they're held at a higher degree of scrutiny, which is also in the rules. According to the deletion message you've already read the rules so this shouldn't be something that you missed.

See ai-assisted status:active for posts that have AI involvement but are not fully AI generated and are in fact approved on the site.

My bad, you tagged it both generated and assisted here and tagged it as AI on Pixiv. Your profiles claim only "AI art using Stable Diffusion" with no mention of any manual edits, so it looked like you knowingly uploaded rule-breaking content. I'll appeal the post so the other approvers can decide if they like it or not.

I did read the rules but as I said it is never properly explained what "Fully AI-generated" means.

I added both tags because I was unsure which one I should select.

Okay thank you, I'm not trying to argue against the rules, if AI posts are banned then I'll post them elsewhere, it just seems unclear what qualifies as "Fully AI-generated".

The degree of human input varies depending on the pieces, but I usually add/remove numerous elements and draw details to make the stuff as good as possible.

I'm not sure what part you're confused about. The definition doesn't leave much to interpretation.

Fully AI-generated means it was created with nothing but prompts.

AI-assisted means the artist applied enough of their own artistic skill that they could legitimately take credit for it. If you're only making very minor changes to what was generated with prompts, then it doesn't count and should be tagged AI-generated instead.

Think of it this way: if you ran half a marathon and had a friend drive you the rest of the way, you still put in a lot of effort even if you didn't finish on your own. On the other hand, if you only ran five feet before getting a ride, can you really say you put in any effort?

If you're still not sure if your edits are enough for your posts to qualify for AI-assisted, you can try asking in the AI-generated art check thread (topic #22285).

That is much clearer than what is written in the rulebook.

I spend a lot of time editing the generated material.

Not sure what you mean by "this is clearer than what's written in the rules". Danbooru supports hyperlinking tags and both AI-generated and AI-assisted are hyperlinked in the rules specifically so you can click on them and see what counts as either. Although Blank User provided an analogy that makes it easier to understand, both the rules and tag wikis for both clearly explain how either is used.

From the rules:

  • "Fully AI-generated art with no human input aside from prompting." -> If you retouched it, there is human input, and your post doesn't qualify for this tag.
  • "AI-assisted content" -> For this, click the yellow text to view what qualifies as AI-assisted.
    • This tag is for pictures that were initially ai-generated but then painted over or retouched by an artist. This also includes posts where an artist uses an AI-generated image as a background or reference for a drawing.

The rules and wikis are clear about either. You have to actually read them.

EDIT: If it helps any, I've added some extra flavour text in the Upload Rules so it's more visible at first glance without needing to visit the tag wikis.
