Esper abilities flat-out rely on making fun of the laws of physics: you force your subjective reality on the world when using Esper powers, the more messed-up your subjective reality, the more powerful you are. Just think of the unnamed bank robber's Equal Speed ability, which negates Newton's First Law, in that even if acted upon by an outside force, the affected object stays in motion; Uiharu negates entropy itself, the most basic law of thermodynamics. I think breaking the conservation of momentum is the least of the universe's worries at this point...
