does this mean sumireko, kokoro, mokou and byakuren will finally appear in WAHH?
Chapter 29 seems centered around Sumireko. And by the looks of it, there's also Marisa going into an outside world school :V I wonder if there's something LoLK-related as well.

Don't know, still not translated, but here there is a chinese version. For what i can see is about ULiL and Sumireko's travels to Gensokyo via dreaming, and Reimu breathes out (?) an occult ball.
The strange thing about this post is that Azuma left out the one character that she's well known for drawing.
That's because it's speculated that she can't draw Kasen outside of official works. The image is from a cover of one of her privately published doujins.

*speculated*
ZUN's unwritten rules. But why wouldn't Azuma be able to draw Kasen outside of official works?

Well, there could be multiple reasons behind it. Since Kansen is the face of WaHH, the copyright holders may have concerns in Kasen's image being spoiled in someway, or Azuma's private works being misjudged as official works. As a matter of fact, this "speculation" first came from Hirasaka Makoto's case; he also never drew any of the three fairies unofficially when the series was still running. Convincingly, after the end of the series, he's been drawing ONLY sangetsusei centered doujins, which somewhat proves he was attached to them even out of work but had a reason not to draw. In any case I should point out that Touhou is a lot more generous than others in this regard. In most of the cases I've heard, when a artist gets hired to take a role in some form of commercial work, he will get banned from drawing a doujin of ANYTHING that's related to the work. Even if he created the whole damn thing, it doesn't matter, unless you get approval from all of the copyright holders.
Sumireko visits Gensokyo in her dream, but because of her screwed sleeping schedule, her dream self that should be transported into the Dream World instead stranded in Gensokyo as a doppelganger and infecting Gensokyo's residents with her bad sleeping schedule to fix her real world's life. Marisa's visiting her school is a cross between possession and dreaming; Marisa dreaming about Sumireko's school while in truth she's walking around as Sumireko's real self when she's in Gensokyo.
The chapter ends with the narrator wondering what will happen when Sumireko and her doppelganger met, as the usual urban legend about doppelganger speaks ill of the meeting.

So it's true that her urban legend is Doppelganger after all.

No, the Word of God said her occult motif is the occult balls themselves. And since the balls are stones taken from seven places where the supernatural presences are the strongest, it could be said that her occult motif is the Seven Wonders of the World.
The thing with doppelganger urban legend is like those legend things that appeared lately in Gensokyo, as this chapter seems to occur prior LoLK.
