Pixiv comments are full of "Nice boat", and now I feel bad for laughing at that.
Also, calling it now: Fubuki welcoming Tokonatsu back with an empty stare and "I know about the ring", and him going all disheartened about how he wanted to keep his proposal to Fubuki as a surprise.
You know, all those yandere giggles aside, I must say that I like how Kouji portrays over-thinking things and slowly sinking into despair as a result. Background screentones for heavy atmosphere, body language, blank expression, wrong conclusion coming through like a dark epiphany, all those details.

It's certainly more realistic than the typical shoujo manga portrayals which Bukki probably read (and is despairing over).
Prediction: Admiral comes back injured/unconscious. 'Bukki pushes this aside to deal wiht the immediate issue of nursing him back to health. Once he's back to consciousness, 'Bukki offers to leave him and Murakumo. Admiral explains about the rings and offers her the one he was earning.
Alternate prediction: 'Bukki realizes that this is following a similar path to those manga she was reading and recalls her comment about "all that.. from just a little misunderstanding " and decides to place her trust in the admiral instead.
My prediction would be: Fubuki catches Murakumo and Tokonatsu in a big misunderstanding. Fubuki leaves crying. Tokonatsu chases her. Tokonatsu reaches Fubuki. Fubuki says to not care about her and be happy with Murakumo. Tokonatsu declares to Fubuki. Fubuki asks why he was avoiding her. Tokonatsu explains situation saying he thought Fubuki considered him a pervert. Fubuki asks how come. Tokonatsu talks about her stern flashing since the beginning of his assignment. Fubuki breaks. All spaghetti falls off pockets.
I hope she turns Abyssal and claims the Admiral as her property... while still agreeing to stay on this side of the battle line despite having herself been "corrupted".
A base where they constantly need to rotate new Admirals in sounds like a book which already exists. But it's not what I'd expect in a Kouji book.
My speculation is nowhere near dramatic. The simplest explanation is that this base is located in a very out-of-the-way region in the very far edge of of nowhere. The reason for admirals rotating is the lack of advancement or action at all, since boredom quickly sets in where there's nothing to do, and as it has no real strategic value at all the only reason there's a base in the first place is to mark territorial boundaries. So due to that, assigned admirals quickly request to transfer within weeks of staying around, until word about the base spread to the point that no admiral aware of the dullness of the base would be willing to be assigned there.
Just as well that the higher ups in the Admiralty had not realized this, otherwise it would've become a base where "troublesome" admirals get exiled to, or admirals close to retirement serve out the remaining of their service before discharged, and Fubuki would never have met Tokonatsu.

I was imagining that's what his base (Tokonatsu-kun) would become if Fubuki became yandere - they'd constantly have to replace admirals.
That's still a very yandere expression, isn't it?
Marriage
Don't worry, we can leave it all to Fubuki.
Experience at anchorage operations...I've heard about...a ceremony which can strengthen the bond between a fleet girl and a commander through a ring....
