So more notable equipment/modernisation farming results after farming from hard resource cap to soft cap, sans initial jervis, tashkent, daitou, and hananami:
1X Iowa(extra set of 16 inches and bofors, last drop obtained from the event actually, since I spent way too long re-equipping for E-2) 6X Maruyu(luck) 6X Mikuma(20.3(3)) 8X cranes(12 30 rockets, chitose or chiyoda probably cost less, but at least this goes faster) 2X Kunashiri+Shimusushu(maybe arashio will finally get that hp mod) 1X Daitou(sitting there until a spare Hiburi) 2X Erotofu(no spare matsuwas due to too much time spent on spare 16-inches) 2X Akitsumaru(daihatsu that brings enough additional spares to make the first toku, disregarding the quest one) 1X Ark royal(QF 2 pounder)
Slightly more questionable drops: 1X Saratoga(gotta start somewhere for extra F6-F5s) 1X Katsuragi(601 and rocket) 1X kagusamaru(not sure if it's worth the effort for another one of those planes) 1X Z1(flak maybe? shame it wasn't max)

maaan, I am running right up against the time limit
What I love from this game is yes, you may fail terribly an event, yet you can recover what you lose in a year and a half. And yes you lose precious equipment that could be lost forever, but it's compensated with chances for newer and better equipment or recoverable with long but doable chain quests.
Now let's see what phase two will bring to us from now on. At least I'm crossing my fingers the cookie method still works because I don't want to pay for a VPN service.

Well there's always the app version if that happens.
It's finally over. Longest hours of event I've ever played continuously.
For me, Iowa, well, takes the cake for burning away my resources. Thanks for the resource-friendly composition found on the wikia, I managed to run over 220-ish runs somehow. I bet Crane Hime really hates me for knocking her over and over (LOL)
I spent too much time on searching for Comrade Giant One so yeah, no Iowa or Jervis for me. Tashkent came to me though, after I burnt 150k fuel (not counting what I get from quests and expeditions, as usual) just for her. The rest of the girls, yeah, they came to me as I was clearing, somehow.

You. Fool.
There are some equipment that cannot be easily replace or recover. If you lose them by your incompetence, then your basically a Kuso TTK :)
Actually I was talking about all equipment you lose for not playing on harder difficulties. You know, like those who run out of time and have to finish quick in casual.
The equipment coming from not obtained ship girls is obviously recoverable eventually.

There is also the case when the equipments aren't better than the ones you already have, like the radar (fumo and improved type 21 kai are better for surface/AA combat) or the interceptors (the Hayabusa 54th/64th are better and the Raiden is close) they gave during this event. Also, the 51cm gun can only be used by ships I usually don't sortie and the devs said it will be obtainable in the future by upgrading the proto 51cm gun. For me, the most useful things were the Toukai and the 2 RE.
First event I was able to fully clear. With the exception of Akizuki (did E3 on casual), Akitsushima (not even a taitei is worth farming that fucking node), and Hamanami (cute, but there were more pressing things to commit RSC to) I managed to get everything I wanted from the event. E-7 was particularly smooth for me: Iowa in 54 runs, Saratoga ~15 runs after that, and Graf, Bismarck, Ark, and Richelieu in between. Got my last drop, Jervis, less than an hour before reset with no resources left.

Upgrading an equipment requires time and effort.
Losing it is basically making your effort to naught. Same deal as earning it from an event.

So you mean to say everybody who doesn't rank is kuso?
Most good equipment aren't earn from ranks either lmao.
Well, losing even just one of them is hard to take for normal people. And even harder for some. I for once, lost U511 because I sortied her with red health and enter the battle node without realizing it. Refreshed right away but still lost her. It felt like hell. I thought Graf didn't come to me that even because I lost U511 too. so all my purpose back then changed into farming for U511... And she came, again. That was a damn hell. It's not the fact you lost her that strikes you, it's you who you can't forgive.
Haha, it's a game but that felt really real. Even knowing didn't help either. But heck, the reason I was so desperate wasn't just because I lost 1 or 2 lines of code in a game, I guess.
