While I don't care about shipping, I also have to ask in return why people are so invested in tearing this specific pair apart. You know, apart from the "all female Servants are muh waifu and nah else shall have them" mentality.
I mean I don't play FGO, but to me it doesn't seem like Kadoc is an abusive boyfriend or anything, yet NTR of these two are also quite prolific.

Simply because they can. And the fact that we basically kidnap Kadoc by the end of the chapter which is a setup for NTR doesn't hlep.
Also, wasn't it exactly because they have a good relationship that people want to NTR them? People doesn't seem to consider breaking a abusive relationship as NTR.
Servants that have their own love interest in fandom outside the player character are great break in the routine in my opinion.
Even if it's just effect of being established in the earlier series, like Shirou and Rins, the Emiya family, or Semiramis and Amakusa. Or DaVinci and Roman, especially for the seiyuu joke.

Gonna get downvoted for this one, but I don't really care.
I know, I just really hate it when common doujin fetishes(NTR, rape, chikan, hypnotism, blackmail) seems to be predicated on the fact that so many people wish they can commit terrible things without any repercussions. It's baffling that when I want to search up a good ero-doujins, vanilla romance seems to be a vast minority.
I'd really love to be able to say the anime fandoms can have many genuinely smart and good people, but with these stereotypes floating around it's just really hard to convince anyone animes aren't exclusively for perverted manchildren.
