It doesn't seem so much out of order as much as it is a lot of duplicates got added to the end of the pool so it looks out of order, now that I do a little bit of digging. I haven't usually touched pools before so I don't know how to fix that. Page 9 in the pool seems to be where the duplicates start if someone more experienced in cleaning stuff like this comes by.

It's better to remove the duplicate from pool, and only make it's child for post that already in pool

Hmm, alright. I haven't removed from pools before so I gotta figure out how to do that. Also it seems like whoever was uploading make the newer post the parent.
post #5515579 was uploaded over a year ago but is noted as the child for post #7234090 which was uploaded 3 days ago. There's a bit more untangling to do than first appears, it seems.

@ToastyWinds: Just to be sure you're aware, there's nothing wrong with newer posts being parents if they're better quality (sometimes based purely on the source site).
There may be a more efficient way to do this, but with all the parents and children already in the pool, this is the first method I can think of to deal with it: 1. Open the pool in one tab and the child post in another. 2. Click "Edit" in the pool's toolbar to see the list of post numbers. 3. Click "Edit" for the child post and copy the post number in the "Parent" box 4. Use the Find function in the pool tab to locate the parent's post number, and Cut it from the list. 5. Use the Find function to locate the child post's number, and Paste the parent post number over it. 6. Go back to step 1.

Not very complex, but definitely tedious.
Sounds like a plan, thanks for the assist. It's not too many images so doing a quality check between the two shouldn't take too long. When I get a second I'll try cleaning it up with your advice.

Supposedly, I could revert the change history back to Lionkuma's change before the duplicates were added (last time I just combed them out manually) then add the two or so images over that time that weren't duplicates @Moonspeaker Is that a good idea? I could do it immediately

That's another solution, so long as you can keep track of all the new parent images (the "duplicates") that have to be substituted in afterward for their child posts. (I.e., it isn't purely a matter of removing the new duplicates; because they're superior versions (as being parent posts implies), they need to replace their old versions in the pool.) If it works more efficiently for you, go for it, I say.

Another question then What exactly makes the parent superior? Beside the larger filesize, I can't actually determine a difference in quality (same image size as well) in most of the images newly added Makes this rather difficult, since as I said the first time this issue arose, all the child posts have a lot of comments on them

Larger file size/higher resolution, better compression algorithm for fewer compression artifacts, final/full version vs. WiP/sample/variant, etc., all generally qualify posts to be parents over the posts that become their children. Yes, the commentary won't be there for the version in the pool, but the pool is meant to showcase the best version of each image first and foremost, not to preserve comments, no matter how good a read they might be. The comments will still be available to anyone by viewing the child versions.

Question btw, will you put it's in right order? Because last time I read that pools, there few page in wrong order due to uploader late timing for next page. I can check and fix the order, if you want

Last time that happaned, I went to the artist's pixiv and checked the order there You can see I made a comment about it on one of those posts
This ended up being quite the ordeal. Since I had to not only look for the placement of parents and children, but also go to the pixiv and cross reference the order between them. I'm pretty sure I did it correctly, but feel free to see if I made any errors
Honestly, there's more to be done. Replacing children with parents not in the pool, making sure everything is right, and comparing the overall order of the entire pixiv series. However, that's work for another day. It's been nearly 4 hours, and my legs are beginning to hurt.
This should solve the immediate problem. Please remember to be mindful when uploading to pools in the future
