Correction, it has the FOURTH highest Special attack of any Pokemon in the game. A scant 9 BP away from MEWTWO, the second highest. And it can get Shadow Tag. To say it is a harbringer of death and destruction is an understatement.
I can't wait until someone does a creepy comic for these pokes just like the Drifloon one that was posted (and deleted, it seems like) a few months back.
The entire family line are basically soul sucking (or in the case of Shanderaa, soul burning) little fucks. Add three more Pokemon into the nightmare fuel section of Pokemon.

The Ghost/Ground one is the only one ghost this generation that's not out to get you. It's actually a pokemon made by an ancient civilization to protect all life.
Also I love the candle pokemon even more now that I know they're soul stealing bastards. Hitomoshi's light sucks out your life, Lamplar appears at your death bed to eat your soul as you die, and Chandelaar immolates you to burn away your soul.
Personally Deathmas and Deathkan bother me more, they used to be human.

Sounds like it's based on a golem then, just being a benevolent one. Hell I think it's the first outright benevolent ghost type ever.
Still don't get why the new jellyfish is water/ghost though, hmm.
