I'm conflicted. On one hand the continual bastardisation of Touhou characters is enraging. Like most youkai Yuuka likes being alone and is fiercely territorial, so from the very beginning this is idiotic.

On the other hand, a jagged spike was just plunged into my heart and I can't feel any malice towards any work that is capable of doing that to me.

how do you know this for sure? stuff like this i always take with a grain of salt, since it varies so wildly. you can only draw conclusions from what you've seen, especially for something that doesn't have basis in reality.

Is nice that Reimu and Marisa actually care about Yuuka, I mean, yeah, sure; Yuuka can look like a villain, but she’s just misunderstood, and is actually a really nice person when you spend time with her (as long as you don’t trample the flowers), soo, I guess Yuuka could end up as a potential friend for Reimu and Marisa... (even though that friendship couldn’t last forever though...)
