The PSG1 (Präzisionsschützengewehr, "precision shootingrifle") is a German 7.62×51mm NATO semi-automatic sniper rifle developed by Heckler & Koch in 1972, based on the earlier G3 design. Visual features of this weapon are a scope, an adjustable buttstock with a cheek piece, a bipod and a pistol grip with distinct palm shelf on the bottom.
