This is Generalfeldmarschall (Field Marshal) Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus, after the defeat at Stalingrad he became an anti-Nazi and even a communist.

By the way, there is a photo where he surrenders to the Soviet troops and he is wearing ushanka.
