This request has been seperated into several lines for the purpose of seperating characters for readability. It may alternatively be written with every character in a single "or" statement.

The characters targeted by this request were added to the Neptune series with additional game releases while being tagged with choujigen_game_neptune, which refers to the first game of the franchise. At the time of the first game's release, these characters did not exist yet.

Nepgear, Uni, Ram and Rom along with their HDD forms were all introduced in the second game of the franchise, choujigen_game_neptune_mk2.
Similarly, Pururut and Pish were only introduced in the third game, kami_jigen_game_neptune_v.
Finally, Uzume Tennouboshi and Adult Neptune were only introduced in the fourth game, shin_jigen_game_neptune_vii.

These aren't going to work because of the possibility of characters that are from Choujigen Game Neptune appearing together with these characters. post #3586739 and post #3616560 for example. This really seems like something that should be handled manually.

My reasoning for such scenarios was that while Noire and Neptune were introduced in Choujigen Game Neptune, they also appeared in the second game.
I thought perhaps the goal was to provide the minimum amount of game tags required to encompass all the characters present, but it appears the objective may instead have been to provide the games which introduced the characters unless there are features present that would suggest a specific entry.
My apologies, I've misinterpreted the help page for tagging in regards to copyrights.

The only copyright I know for a fact has such a policy is Touhou, which specifically mentions in its wiki that the individual games and other related copyright tags should be used only when specifically referenced. Even Fate doesn't mention any such policy, and even if there is one most taggers don't see to care (Mordred gets tagged randomly with fate/apocrypha, fate/grand order, or both regardless of the actual content of the post). Almost every other copyright either tags a character's introductory copyright, or the copyright that corresponds to their depicted design. See dante_(devil_may_cry) devil_may_cry_1, dante_(devil_may_cry) devil_may_cry_2, and dante_(devil_may_cry) devil_may_cry_3 for example.

I know that the main four of the Neptune series (Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert), if no one else, change designs at least occasionally between games, but I don't know the full extent of this. Whatever specific tagging policy applies to the Neptune games, my concern is that this BUR is too broad, and could remove choujigen game neptune from posts that it actually belongs on.
