Tag suggestion: sun_(herald)

Does a tag exist for artistic/personified depictions of the sun?

I'm not sure how many such posts exist,since most of them probably wouldn't be tagged with anything so specific. (sun personification doesn't turn up anything, but sun_(symbol) does).There are probably some more under sun as well

Suggestion: A sun_(herald) tag for such posts,and future posts

N.B. There's a wikipedia page about it under Sun_(heraldry)

I'm not really sure, but for now -1 to another tag, just tag it sun_(symbol) and personification, unless maybe if you find more examples.

I would've gone with sun (personification), but that's only because I haven't really come across the word "herald" much before. Would you suggest implicating it if we did go with a tag?

That's not how personification works. -1 to any potential implication or tagging.

I don't mind if people want a sun_(herald) tag since it does look unique, but the sun_(symbol) tag alone ought to be enough, especially given its low post count.

Hmm, the definition I learnt at school was "the attachment of human qualities to inanimate objects (or animals)". I know that's a little irrelevant to danbooru but it makes me think: Do we have a tag for objects given human parts (but not made human)? (faces, eyes, limbs, breasts, etc.) Most of the minor characters from Banjo-kazooie are examples that come to mind (e.g. the egg in post #892995).

I had brought this up in the personification discussion thread (forum #75443). I think a tag to refer to all instances of this kind of giving human attributes to things would be better than having individual tags for each specific case, so -1 to a "sun_(herald)" tag.

personification seems a bit too general for such a consistent,recurring theme, though technically it is an accurate description

As Hillside Moose suggested, I'll tag the ones found under sun_(symbol) for now, since it does convey the idea fairly well

Should these personifications be kept separate from Soul Eater's sun? (soul_eater sun)
