If you don't mind. I had to remove an edit by the user da nuke(159594) due to his edit -> "The American equivalent would be more or less a New Jersey guidette." Considering how old kogal style is, even by appearance, there is zero connection to a guidette style.
I originally had it as "They are far more similar to American Valley girls than Ganguro." which was more fitting to the style and attitude.
