[Uploading] Bigger res. available?

Hello,
I was browsing deviantArt and came across this entry.
I'd like to upload it here but the problem is that the details read:
3000x4066, 5.3 MB.
while the one in display reads:
1024x1388, 316 KB.

There's no download option at sight, nor buy or anything. Should I go forth with the smaller one?

Nevermind, in forum #77200 and forum #71192 they had the same problem and there's no immediate solution if the download button is not available.

Deviantart gives the artist an "Offer original file as a free download" checkbox on upload. If the artist decides to uncheck it there's no way to access the original.
