Feature Suggestion; Embedding images on wiki pages

Posted under Bugs & Features

This topic reminded me about something has been irking me for some time now. It would be great if it was possible to embed images (like this hime-cut schematic) into wiki pages. Yes it is possible to just list a bunch of posts as links, but showing it in a graphical way would be a lot clearer to users and it would save another click. It could even be used to make some of the tag group pages like Hairstyles or Attire easier to navigate.

I realise people don't want wiki pages filled with references to Imgur, Imageshack.us or other sites because of dead or unsafe links so only allowing images that are hosted on Danbooru itself would prevent that.

An ideal situation imo would be that images could be uploaded to danbooru (possibly after consulting a moderator/janitor beforehand) tagged with a tag like for example danbooru_wiki to show that they are only for internal wiki usage, and that they can be blacklisted if needed.

I thought every wiki did that by now. We could use the 850px sample as an image to embed and then hotlink that image back to its corresponding booru entry so they can see the full size. If it's too big, a little JavaScript into the Wiki syntax wouldn't hurt to resize it.
