uncertain upload

Hi.

There's something I want to upload, but I'm uncertain about it. No, I'm not asking "is this too blurry" or "does this have jpeg artifacts." Well, you'll see what I mean.

This image seems fine on both counts above, but there's a strange pattern to her skin. I would assume this is the result of scanning the image from an art book of some sort. Question is, is that reason enough to NOT upload it, or should I go ahead?

Tag it scan_artifacts if you feel that way, but the picture is fine.

Upload it. I don't see any problems with it and I can't see any scan artifacts either.
But aldeayeah is right. If you thing there's a problem with the image add that tag.

Yeah, it happens when you scan things from heavy stock paper. The same happens when you scan a lot of CD booklets and stuff. Actually, I'm glad people say it's ok because there was some art I was thinking of uploading that had a similar problem.

Good image, by the way. Not nearly enough like it.

Heh, it seems it already exists; it's some girl from beatmania. At least I know about it for future cases, thanks for clearing that up.
