Slightly Dubious Re-uploads

Oh, it's that one Blatant Copyright Infringement Game from China. If the flagging isn't necessary, making them child posts can be fine.

In that case, didn't the mirror flip basically become the equivalent of photoshopping them? Tsunako drew the originals, but not these.

@Megamet You should be made aware of this thread.

I messaged him about it today and thought it was odd there were unsourced uploads without artist tags in a high volume. Still, I approved 3 that weren't up, but didn't notice the other ones.

Is there a way to catch rotated or mirrored duplicates at upload time other than a manual dig or google? It'd be nice if such a thing were in place, I've been caught off-guard by a couple of rotated uploads before.

My apologies, this is my oversight. I stumbled upon that wiki and did a quick reverse image search through iqdb and google, and since there weren't any matches I assumed that they were original works, and decided to upload them because copyright infringement or no they are pretty decent.

We can try searching for the images rotated 90, 180, and 270 degrees and flipping them horizontally and vertically, but that's about it. If the image is slightly rotated and/or cropped, it won't be found, so I'm not sure whether that's worth implementing.
