The bulk update request #1087 has been approved.

Do we really need tags like those two? They effectively exist for a single character, and while a serval isn't a domestic cat it seems kind of pedantic to insist on them being separate from cat_ears and cat_tail.

They could at least be implied to cat_ears and cat_tail, so that a user wondering 'who's that girl I keep seeing on twitter?' doesn't throw together some likely tags like blonde_hair, cat_ears, skirt in a search and find nothing.

I'm seconding 7HS, this seems like a pedantic and not-useful distinction to make.

We could use that for every cat-like creature then.
Besides this implication doesn't hurt anyone and if there is another character with the same ears? No, I think it's fine as it is.

It hurts in that if you search cat ears you won't find these posts. It could implicate cat ears, but IMO having a subtype of cat ears just for this one character would be overkill.

I admit lion ears and tiger ears aren't implicated to cat ears and probably shouldn't be, but it's both more obvious which animal they belong to, and lions/tigers are considerably less closely related to the domestic cat than servals are.

Conversely, if Serval gets her own ears/tail tags with no implication, why shouldn't Sand Cat get them, aside from the fact that hardly anyone's drawn her? She is also based on a non-domestic cat.

Serval ears are far more visually different from cat ears than a sand cat's ears. You could give someone who is mildly familiar with all three creatures a picture of someone wearing fake ears of each of the three and they'd be able to tell the serval ones apart fairly easily, whereas the sand cat and domestic cat have ears that look very similar to one another.

I'm not so sure about the tail...

It seems like there's quite a lot of single-character tags coming out of this copyright now, like moose ears, otter ears, and chameleon tail. Should these also get a nuke, or are they potentially useful?
