What time zone is Danbooru in?

When it tell me that I can upload X posts today, what exactly IS today as far as the database is concerned? Does it go from the first post then countdown from 24 hours or does it reset at midnight in a certain time zone?

The former. At least, that's how it works for me.

What Algasir said. Additionally, each post you make gets a separate counter, so if you upload one image at 3am on January 1st, and another at 1pm, then those upload slots will come open on 3am and 1pm of January the 2nd.

As for what timezone the server is in, I believe it's somewhere in the USA, but I'm not sure where. I'm gonna say somewhere on the west coast, for no real reason.

The timezone seems to be one hour ahead of mine, which is GMT -6. So Danbooru is either in the GMT -5 timezone, or it forgot to set the clock back for daylight savings time. :P

It's Eastern Standard.
