T_T vs. streaming_tears

The wiki for T_T says

A face with streaming tears, usually expressed as T_T. Due to tags being lowercase and underscores being spaces, Danbooru's tag looks different from its intended effect.

Note that this should only be tagged on actual cartoonish streams of tears

But in practice, it's often used for posts where the eyelashes + eyes from this shape, e.g. post #2991713, post #2738187, post #2705854, post #3155464.

Since streaming tears is a much clearer tag name (and more tagged), I suggest T_T either be nuked or used for posts like the 4 above (basically solid oval eyes + similarly styled eyelashes).

I'm for the nuclear option.

T_T is commonplace for crying, so trying to change its definition to something that only applies to danbooru is bound to fail hard.

Nuking sounds good to me. The current T_T posts can be moved to streaming tears, jitome + solid oval eyes, or jitome + |_| as appropriate.

Actually, instead of nuking, how about an alias? That way, it can act as a shortcut, as well as letting newer users which tag to use.

This tag is short enough that people can type it without even checking the autocomplete. I doubt it's going to be of much use.

I don't see this as a good idea.
Pretty much everyone and their mom has gotten used to T_T
on the other hand i've been on this site for almost 10 years and never thought of searching for streaming_tears... which btw sounds like a terrible emo band name from the late 90s but i digress.
Doubtful that this change is actually beneficial, especially for the common danbooru user that doesn't know all the tags.

T_T only has 100 posts, of which 83 aren't tagged crying. Even if some of those are just missing the crying tag, that's still a lot of misuse.

On the other hand, streaming tears has 2044 posts, and a tag name with much less potential for incorrect tagging.
