[FGO] Arjuna tags

Posted under Tags

Beware of spoilers for Cosmos in the Lostbelt #4: Yuga Kshetra down below.

Arjuna's Berserker variant has officially been released for summoning, and it's given us the alias by which he is presented: Arjuna Alter. Therefore, I would like to suggest two things:

1. The tag arjuna_(berserker)_(fate) should be renamed to arjuna_alter_(fate). This one should be self-explanatory. The former tag could become an implication for the latter.

2. The creation of arjuna_(fate)_(all) as an all-encompassing tag denoting all variants of Arjuna, as has been done with e.g. Jeanne and Nero.

It'd be much appreciated to see some more opinions on the matter, since it'd be awkward if Arjuna Alter weren't tagged as such like the other Alter Servants. Thank you for reading.

Making an (all) tag for a character with just 2 versions isn't needed, it's usually done with character with 4+ forms but there are a few exceptions. About the name change I can't say too much since I don't play the game but it sounds good logical.

Thanks for the input. I'm mostly suggesting it because catch-all tags for Fate characters are a precedent even with just two forms, even seasonals with different classes rather than stark differences as in Arjuna's case. Hope that clears it up a bit for you.

No, it's mostly used for A: character with several hundred of posts between their variants or B: characters with ~4+ variants. This was discussed a bit back in topic #14789 for example.
