Bunny Girl had almost 10.000 posts before. Me, Evazion and other users started gardening the tag until now that it have 1.100 posts. The goal is for the tag to have zero posts, so from time to time I kept gardening the tag.
The reason it keeps getting used is that it shows up in the autocomplete and it's been a tag for over a decade. Of course people are going to keep using it if they don't realize it was split.
It doesn't help that we are still using bunny_* tags for rabbit features, like bunny ears.
It certainly doesn't help that we still have bunny ears and bunny tail tags, this is why I was against the change to rabbit girl in the first place.
I support that Bunny related tags should be moved to Rabbit. It makes more sense because we don't use "Kitty" or "Doggo" for cat and dog features respectively.

That's why we were gardening the tag until now, we need to be sure for every single post if it is a playboy bunny or a girl with real rabbit features.

That wouldn't be a problem if the BUR to address that had been approved

I'll rephrase. Is there a reason why the tag doesn't exist yet? It's extremely inconvinient for tagging when you need to type in three different tags when you could get the job done with a single one, that being the above mentioned.
Naturally, that tag obviously would need a mass update, but i'm not confident enough in ways of mass update's so i left it out for someone more well versed.

Additionally, I think that ''fake_bunny_ears'' should also be considered for posts where there is no visible hairband.

Finished clearing all the remaining bunny girl posts, there's still need to add fake animal ears to plenty playboy bunny + bunny ears posts and gardening rabbit girl
It sounds like you want a tag for fake bunny ears. You should make that tag and populate it first before requesting implications.
The bulk update request #5366 (forum #185011) has been rejected by @evazion.
