Since we already separate character tags, could be interesting to have a tag group separation for specific locations (eg. Pokemon cities, real life spots, etc.
That said, this could also open up a can of worms and bring more confusion.

If you're talking about a new tag type, I'm pretty sure that we can just use general tags for this, like we already do for real_world_location and anime_location.
Personally, I would like to see anime_location repurposed to serve as a sort of opposite to real_world_location - instead of being exclusively for anime locations, it would be for any recognisable fictional location under a name like in-universe_location. However, I can see people wanting different tags to separate anime locations from, say, game locations - if that's the case we could create game_location and have both of them imply in-universe_location as an umbrella tag. Either way, I feel there is room for improvement.
I think we can manage locations the same way we do for the uniforms. We have a wiki page page listing both real-world and in-universe uniforms. We already have this page for real-world location, so we just need to populate each anime location and add them to the list.
However, I don't think we should go all the way to a new tag type.
For reference, there's already a list_of_pokemon_places. Some of them have very few posts, although i can see it's usefulness if looking for artworks of a specific scenery (eg. hall_of_origin). Maybe to avoid autocomplete clutter and keep them ordered, the tags could be structured in a pool-like manner (eg. Pokemon:Hall_of_Origin).

Those tags should have gone under the Fictional Locations heading in tag_group:locations, IMO. I don't think we need a separate wiki index for every copyright.

I'm not sure about every copyright, but Pokémon has lots of locations so I think it was a good idea to have the separate list_of_pokemon_places (which I created at some point). It is currently almost as large as tag_group:locations.
