Shooting vs. Falling Star

Should falling star be aliased to shooting star? From the name alone you would think they were used for the same thing which is mostly correct, but the former has also been used for falling star (symbol) symbols (like post #3624586) which I'm not sure if we need a tag for or if the same tag can be used for both.

+1. I don't think there is much to be said here.

I'd say to keep the falling star only for falling star (symbol) (and/or maybe any hypothetical cases of actual falling stars?) and move the others to shooting stars, rather than doing an alias.
