create implication tentacle_pit -> tentacles

I can't imagine a post where this tag would apply that would not have tentacles in it.

I could imagine a post with mechanical tentacles instead of fleshy ones, would these count against the tentacles tag? The tag currently doesn't imply tentacles, but it's quite small.

I don't see why they shouldn't. I don't think most people even tag mechanical tentacles with that tag to be honest.
