BUR #6943 has been rejected.
create alias marble_floor -> marble_(material)
Low tag count of both tags, a catch-all tag for marble related walls/floors/objects could be superior, seeing how there is no marble_wall tag. Perhaps a rename could also work.
We've got a number of material_floor tags (wooden_floor, tile_floor, stone_floor, brick_floor, glass_floor), marble_floor may be small, but it fits into that pattern well, is visually distinct enough to stand alone, and is a common enough thing in reality, even if it's not well tagged currently.
I could support an implication to marble_(material), but an alias feels like it's killing some information.
An implication (or alias if we really think the tag needs to die) to stone_floor would make much more sense to me.
If we decided marble_floor was a bad tag for similar reasons discussed in topic #17531 with gemstones (i.e. how does the tagger know that the artist intended marble vs another metamorphic rock), then a rename to marbled_floor might make sense, as that describes the visual pattern of stone with veins in it rather than the actual material.
The bulk update request #6943 (forum #195408) has been rejected by @nonamethanks.
Changed those wall posts to marble wall for now, since we have other tags like brick wall and we don't usually merge floors/walls. Though I have to admit I don't think anyone is searching for interior decorations on danbooru.
