Tagging illustrations with non-licensed characters

I am aware that if a drawing is of or includes a character that is owned by the tagged artist, the copyright can be set to "original". At least, if I understand correctly.

What I am wondering is if someone different draws a character owned by an artist; for example, a character owned by Kinbakuman or Bagelbomb; how would tagging the copyright work? Continuing with the Kinbakuman example, would it be needed to create a "Kinbakuman" tag for the purposes of identifying copyright, and is thus differentiated from the "Kinbakuman" artist tag?

Basically any character that is not affiliated with an entity and are completely independent, like an independent VTuber that is not affiliated with Hololive, VShoujo, Nijisanji, etc.

For VTubers we use indie virtual youtuber (and virtual youtuber). Otherwise we just keep original and tag borrowed character. If an character is prominent enough (or if you care to), they can have a character tag too.
