Some of these tags are created by users who mindlessly spam Elite II tags regularly and don't have a different design. While a few others are still being discussed (e.g. forum #404515). Why are people suddenly making wikis for them?

For most of the Elite II's I've seen the difference between it and the base version is very minor. So minor that people haven't bothered to tag them outside of the official art, probably because they can't tell the difference.

On the other hand, we do have tags for Kantai Collection remodels even when the difference is very minor. I don't know really know what the criteria will be for when an Elite II tag is warranted.

Last time this was discussed (forum #404515) downtempo suggested that minor changes like item/garment/element addition, removal, or wearing style change don't warrant a tag and should use tag search combinations instead, while NNT thinks tag combination shouldn't be a substitute, especially considering posts are undertagged and mistagged all the time. Personally I agree more with NNT. Relying on gen tag is unrealistic. As long as the change can be consistently identified I don't mind it being a tag. Disregarding very minor and non-specific wearing style changes like hood up/down, jacket open/closed, shirt tucked/untucked is more understandable.

The thing with these tags in question however is not that people can't tell the difference, or don't populate the tag. Half of these tags shouldn't exist regardless of how we handle Elite II outfit changes, because they don't have any outfit change at all. If they do I, downtempo or some other users who keep an eye on Elite II tags would have populated them already. Arknights has a few users regularly creating new Elite II tags on official Elite II arts like programmed robots, regardless of how the art looks like. That's why a lot of them only has a single post.
