create alias dna -> double_helix
create alias dna_strand -> double_helix
Keeping double helix as the main tag in case this or that double helix isn't meant to represent a DNA molecule.

create alias dna_strand -> dna
create implication dna -> double_helix

You mean to imply dna, not alias, right?
Not really, I don't think we need a DNA -> double helix hierarchy for 79 posts, but here's the alternative for voting.
If I'm not wrong, this post #2127385 is the chemical structure of the DNA, without being a double helix. (If not, the tag should be gardened before implying or aliasing it.)

It might be, I'm no expert. I wouldn't tag that DNA though were it not for the double helix in the bottom right.

Oh good point, I didn't saw the double helix in the bottom. Then this post #3059791 is the only other case where I don't see the double helix or why it's tagged as DNA. I guess the structure in the back is supposed to be one?

I think that's a mistag, I don't see anything representing DNA there, including the bar code.
There are plenty of double helixes that arent depicting DNA, and it is usually quite obvious when something is supposed to be DNA, so a hard no on the first alias.
As someone that has studied molecular biology I know that DNA doesnt always have the double helix form. It is atleast conceivable to have anime girls transcribing single strand DNA that looks more like ⊥⊥⊥⊥⊥⊥⊥ than spiraling 工工工工工. I know, it is unlikely but this implication would hurt me ☺.

There's at least one such case: post #4491263, on the right.

I have sorted the tags. DNA strand currently contains two posts featuring a single strand. DNA contains all posts showing the full double helix structure (and I added double helix where missing).
post #4799086 is the only DNA post where I didn't find a double helix (apart from the Lance of Longinus). Is this DNA?

create alias dna_strand -> dna
They will get mixed up again so they will need manual gardening if we want to keep them separate.
