Gah why so many threads about difficult game titles lately? It's so much simpler with anime... =P Since this game was intended for worldwide release from the start, and actually hit North America first by week and a half or so, is it the same dynamic as most anime? Should we treat them the same or is there more wiggle room for keeping the English title given the different circumstances?

That's what I'm undecided on.

So long as we make it a rule, common English titles can be consisitant with each other, along with the fine art titles, as I mentioned before.

When we start Japanizing game titles that came out in English first, that's sort of strange and unintuitive for users of a primarily English website.

I admit, if I had seen/known it was States-side first, I mightn't've bothered, but all I remembered was that it had the player character's name in the title, which struck me as somewhat significant, far as naming differences go (compare with, say, Chi no Rondo and Rondo of Blood, much more equivalent). I do know that most of the Metroid titles started up over here, but siince there's not much individual distinctions, that doesn't matter.
