Sankaku is a cesspool and I finally stopped browsing it when they started bot uploading doujin/CG to the point of making their booru unusable.

The main problem with Gelbooru is the fact you need to solve a recaptcha each time you need to edit tags. That system discourage people from mass fixing images tags because the more you solve them the harder they get. One day I noticed that someone mass uploaded a lot of Digimon art from western artist without bothering to tag those artists (Gelbooru admin/mods should bonk that person). I tried to fix it but thoses recaptcha ended up driving me insane.

There are cases where other images related to one actually do change it's context and applicable tags, but this isnt one of them

This is not how tagging works here and never has been. See howto:tag

Rule of Thumb

Tag what you see, not what you know. In other words, only tag the visual and factual elements in the image. For example, images where the full moon is prominently depicted will have a full_moon tag. Ideally you should use an existing tag on Danbooru.
This means you should not tag what you know about a character. For example remilia_scarlet is supposed to be a vampire, but don't tag every picture depicting her with the vampire tag. Only use the vampire tag if the characteristics are clearly visible.

Consistently changing tags incorrectly in the way you have reflected would be considered tag abuse and is a punishable offense.

As for "obviously futa" posts, refer to the above rule of thumb and also know that implied_futanari is a tag that exists for that purpose. If you see something that deserves that tag and does not have it, you may be more productive editing the post with it instead of going onto the forums to complain.

Now, if you prefer Sankaku because it doesn't abide by artist takedown requests, that is your prerogative and you are entirely entitled to it. But, please don't just wantonly criticize how things are done on this site (and its honesty/compliance with artist requests) just because it doesn't fit your ideas on how things should be.

That user already got banned for being too much of an idiot. This is straying pretty far from the topic of this forum thread.

Grab a tag you're interested in and do a search by order:tagcout_asc. I earned it in a few months by tagging during lunch breaks at work, it's very much doable.

You could stop contributing altogether, if you wanted. Only reason a Builder would be demoted is as punishment for breaking rules or an excessive amount of bad edits, and I can't say I've seen many examples of demotion over just being banned outright.

Yeah, my activity is tremendously sporadic at best. I only really contribute in a burst of activity once a year or so?

Regardless: my best piece of advice to getting builder through contributing is to just find something you like, learn how to use tag scripts and the notes system, and just garden as a relaxing side activity. It'll come eventually. I never actively tried to become a builder and it just eventually got given to me one day (a sure surprise, given that I have one ban on record for being a bit younger and stupider lol).

You may have misunderstood that discussion. Although they can come up, nuking the female child tag is part of tag cleanup, not a solution for the payment processor.

You're reading too deeply into something that basically only Evazion has actual info on.
