Why not make post #5393788 the parent of all these posts?
post #5006341 is also a child to post #5393788, it wouldn't make sense the also make post #5393788 someone's child.

Does that include post #4835154 and post #4756684?
I tried the other way around, it works, but also over complicates the navigation.

From what I've heard, nested parentings like this should be done only when there are duplicates, revisions or image samples involved, e.g., 1upping a whole set of image variations/croppings with an upper limit of 2 parents simultaneously, based on that, I've done this: post #5395809. By that logic, if none of the posts are a superior version of another, then as said before, post #5393788 should be the only parent of all of them.
