Since the named characters of the game were shifted over to the PSP translations, here're the job classes:
IN USE
calculator_(fft) -> arithmetician_(fft)
lancer_(fft) -> dragoon_(fft)
mediator_(fft) -> orator_(fft)
oracle_(fft) -> mystic_(fft)
NOT IN USE
priest_(fft) -> white_mage_(fft)
wizard_(fft) -> black_mage_(fft)
I also bring up that the bottom two mages implicate their general white and black tags, though I'm not sure which of the others jobs would comfortably do the same, since FFT jobs have appeared in less defining attire (if any). Maybe dragoon, with that tell-tale gear?
