BUR #14317 has been rejected.
rename sandal_removed -> single_sandal_removed
Standardized clarification for tags that indicate a single article not being worn. On post #5965240, the character is wearing a single sandal, one is removed. By this logic, we have single bare shoulder instead of "bare shoulder".
We also have sandals removed, shoe removed vs shoes removed and boot removed vs boots removed. I don't know if we need both of these variants when we also have single_shoe, single boot and single sandal.
I think the plural Xs_removed plus the singular single_X to refer to a picture with a pair of footwear, where one isn't being worn, is a good way to reduce the variants and help searching for one thing or another. 2 other examples:
A single footwear being worn in the picture: just single_X;
A pair of footwear not being worn in the picture: just Xs_removed.
You know what I meant by X and Xs, but tbh I suggest that the specific tags could be aliased to something like footwear_removed (I'm aware of its wiki) and single footwear, since the posts would also be tagged boots, shoes, sandals, high heels and so on anyway. The problem I see other than ambiguity is that members wouldn't be able to make searches like footwear_removed single_footwear boots though.

Sadly this is wishful thinking, and related to the reason why we've been moving away from *wear tags. What's really going to happen if we do that is that people are going to tag footwear removed and nothing else, making the specific items unsearchable.
You can take a look at the tagging history from when I nuked footwear_removed to see how many of those posts were missing basic tags like shoes or boots.

I see. Still, I agree the tags should have a standard format and I prefer single shoe and shoes removed and other footwear variants.
