commentary_request tag is being misused

I search commentaries frequently to find characters, copyrights, artists and other info. I commend redtails and other user I forgot for running bots, I have seen many posts from deleted sources with archived commentaries only thanks to them.

Because of that I find commentaries very useful and being a polyglot, I try to contribute with small stuff here and there as best as I can.

Idk about other people, I search for commentary:untranslated and some tags or text to find what I want through what you'd expect - I would love to be able to edit commentaries there - so personally, I don't search for commentary request.

Are you saying that because a tag is used 2.64 million times, that it is useless? Is 1girl useless because of its extensive use on the majority of submissions? That reasoning doesn't make any sense. At best you can say that it is not useful due to the existence of metatags. Alternatively you might have meant to say that the tag is useless due to it being applied erroneously, to which I'd reply that it's only fair to make that claim by actually counting a % error, and compare it to another tag's error %. Nuking a tag due to e.g. 0.5% error seems dumb.
