create alias highlander_sidelocks_conductor_(blue_archive) -> highlander_wavy_hair_conductor_(blue_archive)

It's longer, but this is a better alternative considering how poor "sidelocks" is as a descriptor; both Highlander Sidelocks Conductor and Highlander Twintails Conductor have sidelocks. The current logic only works if you think that "well, this one has twintails and sidelocks, but that one doesn't have twintails, ergo..."

I would love to simply name them A and B, but unlike Millennium Science School Student A and co. we don't have official names yet.

Makes sense. I've thrown these tags together in about 10 minutes so we at least has something to reference these girls with. (comment #2399479)

This is something I'm very much against when it comes to temporary tags on Danbooru. I think tags, especially new ones that still need to become more well known with the majority of users here, need to be descriptive which an indicator like A, B, C,... Or 1, 2, 3, ... certainly isn't.

Note that I'm NOT talking about official names or names "officially" adopted by the fandom.

Finally a more general question regarding grammar because I tend to struggle with adjectives, specifically their order. If we are renaming these tags anyway, what is the correct/preferred/better order?

Highlander Wavy Hair Conductor

Wavy Hair Highlander Conductor

That's why I mentioned the Millennium science students, because if I remember correctly their names are officially lettered. I tend to prefer numerical/letter qualifiers because they're much more uniform (just look at VTubers), but since we lack official names and have to name them arbitrarily anyway, descriptive qualifiers are definitely easier to remember.

I don't know if there's a specific grammar rule for this, but several builders, myself included, don't like starting char/copytags with gentag names because of how it hinders the tab autocomplete. If you typed wavy_hair for "Wavy Hair Highlander Conductor" and hit tab, you would get wavy hair, not what you're looking for. Highlander_wavy however can be safely tabbed and give you "Highlander Wavy Hair Conductor". The same is true with the twintails one.

The Highlanders got their names datamined as of last update: "Hikari" and "Nozomi", named after the real Shinkansen trains. However their names come as a pair in the code so we still don't know who's exactly who.

On the one hand, I like how having "Highlander" as the first word of both tags makes the two of them very clearly associated with one another and always show up side by side in the tag listing.

On the other, common practice would probably put appearance adjectives before place of origin, plus differentiating the beginning of either tag instead of the middle makes it easier to avoid accidentally mistagging the wrong one of the pair.

BUR #25183 has been approved by @NWF_Renim.

create alias highlander_sidelocks_conductor_(blue_archive) -> hikari_(blue_archive)
create alias highlander_twintails_conductor_(blue_archive) -> nozomi_(blue_archive)
create alias tachibana_hikari_(blue_archive) -> hikari_(blue_archive)
create alias tachibana_nozomi_(blue_archive) -> nozomi_(blue_archive)

Which name goes to which girl was revealed recently. Made a separate BUR so they can be voted on separately, and because if we want to keep these descriptive names as utility aliases to help people who don't know their real names, the first BUR should still go through.

Or should we simply alias move and abandon the old tags? I can't think of any NPCs who were named later that would set a precedent for which is preferable.
