I can't assume what reason they gave for their votes, but I imagine the mehs are moreso because they don't have any real opinions on the topic one way or another (probably magnified by the fact that this is MCYT). Sometimes entries of something get aliased into the main copytag, sometimes they don't - it depends on the context - and I imagine most folks aren't going to bother to check whether this is an occasion where having entry tags is entirely necessary.
Ah, that's fair. Just took me off-guard to see the immediate like, influx of votes with no elaboration. Like I said, very new here haha.
So I'll use this opportunity to ask - are there substantial enough differences between the various entries that justifies giving them tags to begin with (instead of just including them under the main tag)? Genuine question, it would probably help a lot of us non-MCYT followers.
Yeah! Each series is basically self-contained aside from the core mechanics being shared, each one is a fresh restart with new members, worldbuilding, alliances, etc. The gameplay mechanics also vary greatly between the series - in Last Life, players can exchange lives with each other, in Double Life, players are "soulbound", in Limited Life, players are on a timer, etc. These are often depicted visually by artists in different ways, such as physical timer objects for LimLife.
Players also have different unique skins/outfits between series, and depictions in artwork can vary based on these factors. For example, PearlescentMoon in Double Life is typically depicted with a unique outfit labeled as "5AM Pearl" in some merchandise, while in other seasons she wears a blue outfit. In Limited Life, Martyn and Scott have an aquatic theme to their appearance that isn't shared in any other series.
I probably should have elaborated further in the initial post, given this is a copyright that's pretty out of scope for a lot of users here. Good to keep in mind going forwards!
