Other stuff like...? Don't make others do the work of searching for you.
The bulk update request #38937 (forum #342604) has been rejected by @nonamethanks.
We already have several other qualified vagabond tags, with vagabond_(elden_ring), vagabond_(dungeon_and_fighter), and vagabond_(romancing_saga_2) being the biggest. But even without these examples, it's still ambiguous since vagabond is simply an English word meaning "wanderer". I would have upvoted this BUR.

And cat is also the name of a heavy equipment brand. Doesn't mean that people are likely to confuse our tag for that.

Apples and oranges. While cat has tens of thousands of posts, I could probably count the amount of posts for the machinery brand on one hand. Meanwhile, the difference between vagabond and vagabond_(elden_ring) is less than ten posts. Hell, there's more vagabond_(*) posts than there are vagabond posts.
I don't care too much if this one random copyright tag is qualified or not, but it does bother me that this isn't enough of a reason to do so.

Because most people think of the animal when they hear the word “cat.” Do you think most people would think of the manga when they hear the word “vagabond”?

On danbooru? Absolutely. Most of the searches for *vagabond* (and even visits for wiki pages) are for the manga.
I understand that the amount of uploads might suggest otherwise, but it's still one of the most popular manga of all time. This to me feels like qualifying berserk because jeanne_d'arc_alter_(swimsuit_berserker)_(fate) or the concept of berserkers exist.
