Author's tag

I accidentally created a tag for niraysama without realizing it already had a tag for uchihaniray (with one image uploaded). Can you remove the duplicate tag? Now all my images are published on the correct tag (uchihaniray). And the one I created is not needed and duplicates what already exists.

Done. One more advice though, You shouldn't add the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations tag on an Uchiha Sarada variant from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Why the advice? These two versions of Sarada are canonically the same person, only in different points in time.

I know, but I think it doesn't make sense to add the Next Generations tag for the Blue Vortex version of the character. The same reason why you shouldn't add the original Naruto tag for any post that only shows the Shippuden version of any character.

Which topic dictated that? Some users was going to tag certain post-timeskip stuffs with the pre-timeskip tags for seemingly no reasons at all (even worse: NOT EVEN COMPARISON OF AGE OR SOMETHING). Can you make it less confusing?

can you please not use chat gpt or whatever to formulate your responses in the forum. i feel like i need a translator to understand wtf youre tryna say half the time.

It's less a specific topic and more just like... common sense? Especially for characters with multiple distinct outfits across different entries in a franchise. If you're searching uzumaki_naruto naruto you're looking for the young Naruto from when he was a kiddo. If you're searching uzumaki_naruto naruto_shippuden you're looking for the teenage version, and if you're searching uzumaki_naruto boruto:_naruto_next_generations you're looking for him as a dad. If you just want any version of Naruto, then just search uzumaki_naruto (or if you wanna be redundant for some reason, uzumaki_naruto naruto_(series)).

I was actually thinking that Naruto could use a qualifier. It’s not immediately obvious that it’s exclusively for the first series, or that it’s different from the Naruto (series) umbrella tag. We have Mega Man (classic) for the original Mega Man series. Maybe we can add a _(classic) qualifier or something similar to Naruto as well.

But yes, the copytag used should be the one that particular incarnation of the character most strongly corresponds to.

Edit: I submitted a BUR in topic #31947.
