Can you really tell the difference between which one is lady avalon and which one is proto merlin in asset #25721047 and asset #25721209? Yeah, me neither. Lady Avalon is just Proto Merlin in groucho glasses. Arguing for a Lady Avalon umbrella tag is silly, and putting her costumes underneath said umbrella tag is also silly. Not to mention proto merlin's first and second FGOA ascension are basically identical plus/minus a hood.

I think it's fine leaving the LA ascension tags as-is rather than aliasing them, but these costumes at the least are kinda silly to keep with the Lady Avalon qualifier.

This redirect's qualifiers are backwards, and this existing will also become even stupider if my first BUR goes through (since it'll be redirecting merlin_(fate/prototype)_(swimsuit_pretender) to merlin_(fate/prototype))
Remaining posts in lady_avalon_(fate) -lady_avalon_(*)_(fate) should all be alternate costumes or Proto Merlin in her ambiguous first/second/swimsuit first outfit.

Wait, if you mean that these are what's left under the search above, then don't we need a tag for the default costume? Shouldn't these all be aliased together instead of being nuked?

This is one of those scenarios where I don't know what the tag name would be is the thing. These are all technically distinct if you squint but… do we care? We can't really go with Nth ascension because the first and second ones are fundamentally hood up/hood down. CMIIW but I don't know if Proto Merlin ever really appeared anywhere before FGOA (like if she was mentioned in Prototype idk if she had an illustration—and if she was that would obviously be a non-feasible qualifier) so this is one of those cases where the chara's "default" costume is kinda stuck in tagging limbo (this is the case for a good chunk of fate charas esp the early fgo servants, which followed a similar ascension scheme of basic costume -> oh wow we added a few barely noticeable frills -> entirely new design)
