I found that images of characters with exposed large breasts are difficult to pass review

Posted under General

I am a beginner who just started uploading, and in my recent uploads, I found that some images, although very beautiful, are difficult to pass review if they feature exposed large breasts. On the other hand, images where the characters are dressed, or the breasts are not so large, tend to pass review much more smoothly.

I also noticed this when I searched for `status:deleted`. Many images from the same artist have already been uploaded by Contributor-level users, but if they are uploaded by others, they almost never pass review.

I’m not sure if there are some rules I don’t know about, or if it’s because I chose a bad time to upload.
Can anyone help explain this? It’s making me hesitant to upload many images that I feel look really good.

The more potentially objectionable elements there are in an image, the more likely it is to be blacklisted by users. Approvers, like any other user, can blacklist tags they don't want to see, meaning the Approvers that don't like gigantic breasts, hardcore porn, or even simple nudity might not ever see those posts.

Lewd works are also more likely to have exaggerated proportions, which may cause some Approvers to reject it even if they're fine with the subject matter itself.

Contributors do not require Approvers to look over their uploads, so they can more freely post niche content without having to struggle with the modqueue.

Thank you for your answer. May I also ask, should I appeal for some content that was deleted? They are quite similar to some images that passed approval, yet they failed the review.

For example, `ibukichi_(noukoumiruku) status:deleted` post #9814274

(Because the help section mentions that you can only appeal a post once, and it will take up a slot in the queue.)
