I found my own artist profile page and looked at it out of curiosity, and it has extensive links to my pixiv, both art twitter accounts, along with my personal twitter account and an unused twitter account of mine. Also under the other names, it has a typo of my name that i’ve made but never published anywhere. im
not really too familiar with these forums so sorry in advance

Okay i see, now i’m just confused on how a person found so much information with me being such an unknown artist, and the typo of my name (ヴェル天使い instead of ヴェル天使) that i can’t recall ever making publicly is very strange of how it would show up. 2 of the twitter accounts have nothing to do with my art so feel free to remove them.

Oh hey I made this entry apparently! Can't recall how I found the other twitter accts specifically but the answer is probably just "poking around the bio & pinned posts till something shows up". (I also tend to include all other publicly linked profiles regardless of if they're art-related because sometimes that ends up being what helps link artist entries together.)

I don't think we should be including social media accounts that don't have any art in them in artist entries...

Counterpoint: Sometimes artists will post/repost onto their non-art side accounts. Including these accounts in artist entries help prevent possible dupe tags being created by unaware uploaders.
It can also help identify an artist if they use multiple names across different accounts/platforms. As mentioned, it helps link artist entries together.

Then it's no longer an account that has no art in it. I obviously wasn't talking about side accounts with doodles and such in them. If you need to prove a link between two artists then just mention it in the BUR reason when aliasing them.

I usually don't include those when making artist entries, except on odaibako it's still possible to attach a drawing in response to a request.
If the account is related to an artist's activities then it should be there. If it has nothing to do with their artist activities then it shouldn't be there. That's why it's an artist entry, to find things related to their art endeavours. I think request sites and the like are fine to keep, given marshmallow (site) and similar. Things like random PayPal links or side accounts completely unrelated to art activities shouldn't be there.

oh my god, you just made me realize that my name on pixiv is spelled wrong and i never notice. holy shit thank you
