an anklet made of rope. there was a bound ankles post but i moved it manually

btw rope_around_* is full of rope bracelet, rope armlet, rope thighlet etc.

"ankle_rope" is such an awkward name for a tag, I laughed a little when I saw it. A number of your suggestions work sooo much better.

This may be pedantic but it's weird to me to consider rope a piece of jewelry - at least, I've never heard of rope-as-jewelry before, but that's when taking the tag's definition literally, most of these locational accessory tags are used in practice as either jewelry or other decorative items that are not necessary jewelry. Just considering the BUR alone which tags are implicated to anklet (bead, gold and silver). Doing this would make anything tagged rope anklet also get jewelry as its the top-level in the implication chain.

I don't think it's wrong but I'm not compelled enough to upvote it either.

an alternative is to just leave ankle rope like ankle belt

I would've suggested rope around ankle but that doesn't sound like a tag that's trying to describe a rope used for decorative purposes.

This feels like a Japanese or Chinese cultural thing that should have a name for it but I can't find one. Some might be shimenawa and others are ankle bells. I'm not sure if the ones under Jiu Niangzi can be considered actual ropes.
