The clothed_masturbation problem

clothed masturbation is a tag that's ostensibly meant to be used for a very specific situation: when a character is clothed and is masturbating under their clothing. (see: forum #111502, topic #11604)

the problem is, of course, that clothed masturbation is about as ambiguous as a name can possibly get for such a specific tag, leading to the tag's current dismal state - i'd wager it's actually harder to find a properly tagged post than it is to find a mistag.

i have two thoughts about this:

  • we should move instances of "masturbating under clothing" to a tag with a sane name: masturbation_under_clothes (would match masturbation through clothes)
  • and then, what to do with the remaining posts? is there a valid case for having a specific tag for posts where someone is literally masturbating while clothed? i don't know, so let's hear from others.

I strongly believe that any sane person who types "clothed_masturbation" into the search bar would want to see table humping among other things.

How would your proposed masturbation over clothes be distinct from the current masturbation through clothes? Or do you mean to alias the latter to the former?

as the one who edited that into the wiki, i'm going off what others have said about this tag's alleged intended purpose (the two forum posts i linked). i think it's awkward too, but hey, that's what this thread is here to resolve.
