What is the standard for uploading photos of official merchandise?

I'm someone who uploads a lot of official art, and that includes art made for official merchandise. However, sometimes the only images I can find of said art are photos of the merchandise itself, rather than standalone illustrations. As an example, I recently came across a series of Doki Doki Literature Club merch items by OceanInSpace. While I was able to find some of the illustrations by themselves (a few of which were already on Danbooru), I could not find any of this set of postcards. The highest-quality images I could find were the official product shots.

A similar situation occured with another DDLC merch set, the "Classics of Horror" series. The chibi art made for this set is seemingly not available by itself. All I could find were photos of the keychains and standees.

I'm not really sure what to do in situations like these. Obviously, photo_(medium) posts are not against the rules or anything, but it's still not ideal. Are things like these okay to upload, or should I only post art made for merchandise if it's a standalone illustration?

If in doubt you can run it through the queue. The queue is almost always right.

I don't see a problem with any of those. The postcards, standees, and keychains show the artwork clearly despite the minor flaws in presentation. I'd even argue that the note standees add to it with the billboard. If you can't find any better versions of them, I think they'd be fine to upload. I would at the very least upload the postcards; the only flaw with those is the slight rotation.

Seconding this, the postcards in particular seem no different than photo_(medium) traditional_media posts.
