i visited everyday for 8 months befor the site went down i left a few comments but i never had anything to upload i always wished i could but everything i found was already here its such an amazing site

I know the feeling man, I felt the same way back then... what little time I had in between browsing the website and working and such, whenever I wanted to upload something I always tried to check if it was on the site already and sure enough the hardcore had already posted it :P

I like seeing how many people still stick around. I had the original site still bookmarked and was surprised because one day I just randomly kicked on the bookmark (I guess Im OCD with this site to see if itll ever come back) and sure enough that day came :P Still using the original bookmark too ^^/

Well I may not be original, but I was around for quite a bit before Danbooru first went down. What sucks is, I can't find anything I had uploaded before... probably because I am not privileged and there for can't see my explicit uploads from the days of yore.

I was on the old site but my account got deleted. Some of the images I uploaded a long time ago are still here but are now posted by Anonymous. When it came back up I wasn't able to create an account again for a long time! Now I am back just recently.

Two summers ago I spent a lot of time on Danbooru. Mostly just editing tags. And sharing my finds with my girlfriend at the time. It was pretty sad to see it go. Yesterday I randomly tried to find it again and sure enough, it was here. Hoorah.

I don't remember when exactly I discovered Danbooru, but it was via 4chan long before it went down. I started doing anonymous translations, but quickly registered because I liked the community. It's constructive and ordered, and I favor that. They have to put on with my (from time to time) broken English, but they get a few translations in return, so it's fair trade. ;)

My oldest pic that I know I got from Danbooru was downloaded on September 30, 2005. So that would be how long I go back. It was quite a bit later (just a couple of months before the site went down, I think) that I got around to registering an account, though.
