Failbooru with uploads

Everything else is working, but very, very slow.

I say that's pretty much it exactly. It has to do with all three server synchronizing a upload among them. If one of the server is offline then the other two can't complete the upload process.

It's been 19 hours since the last post (post #787323) had been uploaded, but it seems nothing had been done so far (I still get failboorus). Any progress?

EDIT: It seems that the main Danbooru server is out as well as I get failboorus now. At least, I can upload through Sonohara, although I don't get the images within the posts.

Oh boy, Hijiribe is down again. Joy.

Yep, uploads are busted again. Last working upload was just over an hour ago.

Oh Failbooru, why couldn't you have come earlier? Anyway has Albert had time to look into the problem yet? Does he know what's wrong with the Hijiribe server?

I want to say he will probably need to reinstall the operating system on that server and resync everything to it. There were some odd issues during the migration. One of which the server would not remember the new IP address assigned to it.

Itu, that seem rather spot on there. Do you happen to know how the server(s) work or you just guess that based on information available to you?

The hijiribe server is fucked up for whatever reason.

I'm staying at a hotel right now and I can't ping either server (even though I can access the web site). I suspect the port is being blocked or something.

I'll be back home on Monday evening.

For now I've removed hijiribe from the danbooru.donmai.us DNS again. For access, you can use sonohara.donmai.us for now, but uploads will be broken until either hijiribe is fixed or I remove references to it completely.

I am now back home.

I've taken hijiribe out and the OS will be reinstalled on that computer. Hopefully this will resolve any strange networking errors.

Once that's done I'll have to rsync all the files over again.

You can say that again. Before the fix, the lag the site was dishing out was terrible. What makes it worse for me was the fact that Albert could have just shut down the site days ago to better fixed the site.

The site loads faster then usual and some bugs I noticed recently seem to be resolved. Only thing is I can't upload the 2nd pic I was planning on getting that Failbooru thing and by the looks of it no one else has uploaded a pic in the past 10 or so minutes so I might not be the only one. Just wondering if this is a bug or this randomly happens to slow down upload traffic?

Anywho still like the recent fix, so much speed now when browsing.

Edit: Scratch that, I see upload activity, must be just me. I'll try again.

It's not just you. I'm getting failbooru when trying to upload as well. Looks like some residual problems...

I don't get it : only some people can upload and the rest get failbooru >_>.

Yet those that can upload are same old cast of characters so they're no different really.
